I like to describe myself as an artist who mainly works with photography. My approach to photography is based on the inability of communication which I use to visualise the dissonance between form and content and the dysfunctions of language. Transformed into art, language becomes an ornament.

I try to express the way I understand my surrounding environment through the visual game and the manifold layers of meaning of my images. At that moment, lots of ambiguities and indistinctnesses come to the surface of my works.

A little bit about me

I was born in Cartagena de indias (Colombia) in 1975. In 2000 I moved to Madrid (Spain) where i lived and worked for 9 years. In 2010 I moved to Bern (Switzerland) where i currently reside.

I enjoy myself taking pictures, playing guitar or simply drawing. Listening to music is very relaxing for me (with a larger preference for Rock and Blues). I like to learn and to find out how things work, that's why I consider myself a great self-taught person.
